THE GOSPEL INVADES SYRIAN ANTIOCH

Persecution scattered Christians from Jerusalem but it did not scare them. Arriving in Antioch they shared the gospel with their Gentile neighbours and unknowingly started the fastest ever church expansion. The apostles sent Barnabas to Antioch,  Barnabas fetched Saul (later 'Paul') from Tarsus, and the growing church at Antioch sent Paul and Barnabus to evangelise the Gentile world.
