CHRIST PROCLAIMED IN ALL THE SCRIPTURES

Following the ascension of Christ, the disciples wait in Jerusalem for the promised outpouring of the Holy Spirit, but they are not idle (Acts 1:12-26). They review the fate of the traitor Judas, choose Matthias as his replacement, continue in united prayer and discover the sovereignty of God in all the seemingly chaotic events of the passover week. So we also can find comfort, joy, strength and peace of mind through the trials of life as we anticipate what the Lord will do for those who trust in his sovereign purposes.
