UNDERSTANDING EVANGELISM PART 1

Why is our evangelism so ineffective today? Is our evangelistic technique at fault? The parable of the sower (Matthew 13:1-9) helps to put our thinking straight, showing that the problem lies not in the seed nor with the sower but in the soils, namely, those we seek to win for Christ. The ultimate sower is the Holy Spirit, who alone can bring a person out of spiritual darkness into the light of the gospel, and all the technique we need is to preach the gospel in complete reliance on Him.
