WALKING IN THE SPIRIT

The Christian is engaged in a war that rages in his or her own heart, a conflict between the old fallen nature ("the flesh") and the indwelling Spirit of God. In Galatians 5 the apostle Paul explains how we may walk in the Spirit and subdue the works of the flesh so as to glorify God in our practical lives and walk in peace with Him.
